Whimsies!

Most of the items on this page came about near the beginning of the COVID lockdown, when I was looking for new items to knit for my own amusement. 

At first, I was particularly taken with the idea of making critters as tiny as possible, hence the bunnies, snails, and octopuses.  My grandchildren loved finding them in their Easter baskets! 
And then came the hedgehogs, which became almost an obsession.  I made so many that I started putting them in plastic bags, along with my card, and leaving them on paths and trails with the hope of creating a bright spot in the day of folks who found them.  It was clear from the responses I got that people loved them.  Now I'm offering them to you.  They fit nicely in the palm of your hand (or tuck away neatly in a pocket), and the slightly larger ones also make great stress balls for the adults in your life!  They would make terrific stocking stuffers, or "just because" gifts for those you love.
