Baskets

From the time I first saw a picture of one, these mobius baskets have captivated me.
They have been made (or adapted) from Cat Bordhi's brilliant pattern in A Second Treasury of Magical Knitting.  The baskets have no seams and have only one surface!  If you touch your finger to the handle, then trace down across the bottom and up the other side without lifting your finger, you'll find yourself tracing down and across the "inside" of the basket, and up to the point where you started.   Magical indeed!

Sadly, the knitting world recently lost this amazing teacher and designer.

These baskets have been knitted from a wide variety of wool and alpaca yarns and on many needle sizes, then felted, resulting in many different sizes, colors, and textures.
